9/11 Memorial Stair Climb

With the 10th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, the Gettysburg Fire Department is hosting a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. The event will take place Sunday, September 11, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Gettysburg Warrior Football Stadium, 37 Lefever St.

Participants will walk the stairs at the stadium, taking the same number of steps as those contained in the stairways comprising the 110 stories of the World Trade Center towers in New York City. Registration for the walk begins at 11:30 a.m. The walk begins at noon.
